We are delighted to inform you of the GCSE and equivalents results for 2009:
5 A* - C = 77%
5 A*- C (Including English and Maths) = 45%
The number of learners leaving HHS with the entrance requirements for level 3 courses of study is, for the first time, over 75%. This is a significant milestone for the school and well above the national average.
Whilst the results including English and Maths are not as high as last year's (which were 51%), for this cohort of learners it represents excellent progress from their individual starting points. When taking the comparison with their Fisher Family Trust estimated progress this puts our young people in the top 25% of all learners nationally.
Another milestone we are pleased to report to is that finally, we have achieved our first A* in English and our first learner who amazingly achieved 10 A* grades!
Our congratulations go to all of Year 11 who worked incredibly hard to achieve this successful set of results.
