Harrow High School & Sports College
Three schools have inhabited the wonderful building in Gayton Road with the first school, Harrow County School for Boys opening its doors for pupils in 1911. The grammar school flourished but a change in educational ideaology brought about the birth of Gayton School in 1972. Ten years ago, Harrow High School was established and today is recognised by Ofsted as an outstanding school.
Plans are already being discussed on how to celebrate 100 years of our very special school. The Old Gaytonians Association still has a strong bond with the school and we are delighted to be working with them to ensure a magnificent celebration. If you would like to be part of the 100 year event or just want to know about what we are planning, please get in touch. Congratulations to our learners who achieved outstanding results in their GCSE or equivalent exams. 71% gained 5 or more A* to C grades making them the top year group since the school was established in 1998.......... read more
